European Vintage Emporium (EVE) is a family business based in rural Normandy, France, specialising in genuine vintage and antique items sourced throughout France and Western Europe.
We’re Eve and Stephen, and we spend much of our time travelling through France and Europe looking for interesting things to add to our constantly changing collection. We look for genuine antiques, French vintage pieces, collectables, decorative objects and the wonderfully unusual things that simply catch our eye.
Our stock ranges from French ceramics, furniture and architectural pieces to vintage toys, books, maps, lighting, jewellery, cameras, industrial objects, curiosities and much more. With 10,000+ items available online, there is always plenty to discover.
We sell to customers around the world from our base in Normandy, France, with everything held in our own inventory and available for dispatch.
Sourcing vintage and antique treasures across France and Europe
Our collection is constantly evolving because we’re constantly looking.
We make regular sourcing trips throughout France and Western Europe, visiting brocantes, vide-greniers, antique dealers, markets, auctions and other sources of vintage and antique items. We also work with established suppliers and contacts across Europe who help us discover pieces that might otherwise never make their way into our collection.
That means our online inventory is deliberately diverse. You might find an antique French ceramic jug alongside a vintage camera, an old industrial object, a piece of European furniture, a mid-century toy, an unusual piece of jewellery or something with a story we simply couldn’t resist.
We don’t try to specialise in one narrow category. We specialise in finding interesting things.

We currently maintain an online inventory of 10,000+ vintage and antique items, all held by us rather than drop-shipped from elsewhere.
We have also supplied items to a wide range of commercial customers, including interior designers, film and television productions, photographers, journalists, publishers and authors, as well as collectors and private customers around the world.

When you buy from European Vintage Emporium, you’re dealing directly with the people who source, photograph, describe, price, pack and dispatch the items. We’re a small family business rather than a large marketplace operation, and we take pride in knowing our stock and being available to answer questions before you buy.
We speak English, French and German, and we’re happy to provide additional information, measurements or photographs when you need them.
We also understand that buying vintage and antiques online can be difficult. You can’t pick something up, examine it from every angle or see how it feels in person. That’s why our items are carefully photographed and described, and why we offer our 30-day approval / return policy. If something isn’t right for you, you can return it for a refund, subject to our terms.
