Trading policies and procedures


Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal.

Cheque payments from outside of France will incur a £25 bank processing fee. To pay by cheque you will need to create an account and complete your details. International cheques will incur a delay while being cleared and processed of 7-21 days. There are no fees for French cheques (English cheques can also be processed fee free by arrangement).

Direct bank transfers are usually processed in 3-5 working days. To pay by bank transfer you will need to create an account and complete your details.

PayPal express payment will automatically use your information stored with PayPal and you will not need to create an account with us. PayPal handles all your credit card and banking information and protects it through their own online security systems.


A 20% non-refundable deposit will secure and reserve any items for up to three months. This deposit is non-refundable should you decide not to proceed with your order and covers the cost of any depreciation, storage, re-listing and clerical costs. Any other payments received will be returned should you decide not to proceed with your order.

If you would like to reserve an item or items let us know which items (brief description and SKU number) and we will edit the listings for you to make this possible. Once we have edited the listings you will see a further ‘make deposit’ button appear on the item page. Just click on the button and the item will be added to your shopping cart. When you have added all the items you want to reserve to your cart just checkout in the normal way.

After you have made your deposit you are free to make payments whenever you choose and for any amount you want through My account.

Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the difficulties of shopping online and not actually being able to hold and feel items we are happy to provide refunds for unwanted items that do not fit in quite as expected. Buyers will be responsible for return transit costs. Please contact us within 10 days of receipt through our contact form here to make a return.

In the event an item arrives damaged or broken beyond the description in the original listing please photograph any damaged packing and the item itself and contact us through our contact form here. In this case we will ask you to return the item but we will cover all return costs and refund you your full initial payment including postage (sometimes return may not be necessary and photos will suffice for a refund to be issued depending on courier insurance requirements).

Loyalty point schemes

Starting in 2018 we reward customers with loyalty points with every purchase they make at any of our online shops. These points can be used to apply discounts on future purchases from us on any of our selling platforms. Your points are recorded in the ‘My Account‘ area of our website. To qualify create an account within four weeks of your purchase and your points will be updated within 24 hours. At our Bronze rate for every £20 you spend on items you receive one point worth £1 (Please note. Points are not awarded on postage fees).

Loyalty point rates are calculated on your annual spend with us starting from the 1st of January 2018. For example customers spending up to £2000 a year with us qualify for the Bronze tier award which gives them points to the value of 5% of their orders.

Customers qualifying for higher tier awards receive their new loyalty point rates as soon as they spend that amount. For example a customer making purchases to the value of £4000 in a single year qualifies for points to the value of 5% on the first £2000 spent and points to the value of 7.5% on the remaining £2000 spent.

Postage discounts

Postage discounts are automatically applied to multiple item orders at checkout. With multiple item orders you will only pay postage on the single heaviest item.
