Known background: typically used in the past for storing betel leaf, betel nut, dry tobacco, lime, catchu, and saffron.
Size roughly: 25 x 20 cm – 10 x 8 inches (to top of handle – large than previous ones we have had pass through the store)
Weight roughly: 2.5 kg (ask about cheaper shipping options if you are not in a rush)
Condition: in antique condition with signs of previous use, patina and tarnish, knocks and dings, a nail has replaced the lid hinge pin at some point in it’s past
