Description
This flatware comes from a large clearance lot of assorted cutlery we sourced from a Sheffield factory. The cutlery was produced between 40 and 60 years ago and includes cancelled orders and end of lines. All are unfinished items. The company (called Cotelere Ltd) produced high end cutlery for Mappin & Webb, Garrards, Asprey, C J Vander, Roberts & Belk as well as private commissions for Luxury yachts etc. Some of the cutlery is older stock from another company called Fletcher that was purchased by Cotelere.
All cutlery is unfinished needing polishing and perhaps silver plating to really set them off. Or perhaps you like this rough unfinished state. We certainly do! It has been stored for some decades and has gained tarnish and patina in that time. All pieces are strong and functional.
