This item is a bit of a mystery to us. Heavy and well made it has two doors on the back which are held into place by springs. Almost making it appear to be something like a flower press. Alternatively it may be a restaurant menu holder or a photo frame… We would appreciate any input on identifying it.

Condition: in vintage condition with signs of previous use, really nicely made item, some little scrapes to wood, felt has shrunk or worn slightly on the inside and is a little discoloured, still a very strong, solid and functional item
Weight: 2.1 kg (so expensive to ship internationally I am afraid. Ask about cheaper options if you are not in a rush)
