Weekday trips

During the week we are often found visiting the brocantes in our region. We can travel in any direction and know we will fill the van and have a good day. For the last ten years we have established good working relationships with a great deal of colleagues who help us locate our global customers special wants and needs and keep our favourites put aside for us. Now we want to introduce you to them and reveal a few of our secret spots!

You might be a collector, you might be looking for special pieces or perhaps looking at getting into the business (we have trained multiple local vendors who now run successful Etsy shops). Be it tat, treasure or twinkly things we are quite confident we will be able to show you some great items at some great prices. Ceramics, glass, furniture, signs, toys, electrical, whatever tickles your vintage fancy, we can theme a trip too. Our trips out always cover our time and expenses, we would be disappointed if you didn’t end the day feeling the same way. 

We can entertain you for a morning, an afternoon, a whole day or even a whole week. Give us a clue of what you have in mind and let us make some suggestions.

Half a day will enable us to visit 1-2 locations including travelling time, a full day will really get us out and about enabling us to visit 4-6 traders right across the Normandy or Brittany regions.

If you would like to mix your trip up a bit and visit other local attractions we can make some suggestions depending on your group and interests. The Normandy landing beaches, Mont St Michel, a little theme park just down the road from us….

Weekend trips

The weekend means it’s time for the Vide Greniers. We think the very best part of our job! These might be regular events or annual events held by the huge majority of villages and towns in France. Don’t be expecting a lie in and casual stroll though! We are often there at 6am in the morning to secure the very best bargains. It will be an early start and we will be travelling at a pace to get round as many VG’s as we can in a morning!

After ten years of experience of all manner of VG’s from tiny villages to huge 500 stall affairs we now have the experience and insight to know which ones are worth adding to our planned weekend circuit and which ones are not.

We always plan a circular route beforehand usually taking in four to six vide greniers during the spring and summer months, We generally get home in time for a late lunch or fit one in on the way back.

We can lead the way if you have your own transportation, if your group is not too big (up to four persons), we can arrange transport. Your tour guides speak French, German and English fluently.
