These vases were often presented as wedding gifts. They would sometimes be kept in Globes de Marie or Marriage Globes that were displayed in homes after the event to commemorate the couple’s union. They would be proudly displayed and would hold symbolic keepsakes such as the bride’s wedding bouquet. Often gold leaf plated but this has worn off over the years. We also often have Globes de Mari??e in store.
A great “something old” gift perhaps?!
