A vintage French traditional wooden milking stool with three bobbin style legs. Will work as a little stool or now more commonly used as plant stands. These are priced individually but came to us a group of three that have been together since thir purchase in 50’s/60’s. We rarely get matching pairs let alone sets of three. Strong and stable with signs of previous use as detailed below.

Size roughly: 45h x 35 x 31 cm – 18h x 14 x 12 inches (seat 24 cm – 9.5 inches)
Condition: in vintage condition with signs of previous use, scuffs, wear and scratches, varnish is worn especially to top, typically made without the use of glue and nails, the joints do loosen up a little over the decades, there are some signs of the legs starting to come up through the seat a little and some legs have twisted in their holes, some splinters to the underside where the legs enter the top, you may consider adding a little wood glue to the joints in the future if things loosen up further, strong and stable otherwise, one seat has the remnants of a label attached, please see all pictures
